Lauren's Submission:
Since it's reincarnation, The Grateful Palate has become a culinary destination for foodies and wine connoisseurs. Under the guise of Aussie-bred Executive Chef David Learmonth, Grateful Palate offers fine-dining dishes that are as pleasing to the eyes as they are to the palate. Utilizing some of the most extraordinary and exotic ingredients from around the world that are usually reserved for fine private yacht chefs, Learmonth promises diners a remarkable journey through international cuisine.
While the menu is ever-changing, one can always find staples such as Pan Seared Halibut with curry Moroccan couscous mango drizzle and frisee salad; Pan Roasted Duck Breast with rutabaga, oyster mushrooms and port demi-grace and Crispy Salmon Skin with ginger infused black beans, wakame and sweet chili sauce. Accompanied by one of the most extensive wine lists in the area, diners are treated to a culinary journey certain to tantalize any palate.
The Grateful Palate is located at 817 SE 17th Street; Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316 and is open for lunch Monday through Friday and dinner Monday through Saturday. For more information or reservations, call 954-467-1998 or visit their website .
